Addressing the Challenge of the 21st Century

We need a new story of people and nature, one with an outcome that is equitable, resilient, and extends far beyond the 21st Century.

What We Do

Innovations4Conservation (i4cNature) is a non-profit dedicated to providing training, capacity building, and communications support to the people who live in or benefit from the presence of protected nature - governments, NGOs, community and civil society organizations, businesses, financial centers, and research institutions. We are a very different conservation organization in composition, focus, and outcome.

The i4c Nature Mission

We facilitate the dialogue, capacity, and actions necessary for communities, businesses, and governments to work together to sustain nature across our planet.

Our vision is for all communities, local to global, to thrive in a world where business, finance, and governance work together to sustain nature and support healthy lives.

Our Approach

We work through three interconnected programs:

Strategy

We design and facilitate unique training programs, workshops, and events to assist individuals and institutions to build and enhance the skills that take them from ideas to implementable actions.

Story

We merge art and science in our training to support communications, planning and decision-making that tells the unique story, needs, and potential of each protected natural area and the people dependent on it.

Sustain

We provide grants and technical support to site-based and regional projects that create a shared vision and equitable benefits between businesses, finance, conservation trusts, communities, NGOs and protected natural areas.

The i4cNature Fellowship Program

Our i4cNature Fellowship unites our core programs to offer a stipend and opportunity for selected individuals to step back from their work, reflect, and create a personal and professional strategy for an innovative and realistic 21st Century plan for nature.
